Who are we?

Eric De Groote – Office Manager/Accounting
Eric has a technical background specializing in auto electrics and has been passionate about cars his entire life. In the 1990s, he was a regular at the Zolder and Francorchamps circuits, working as a mechanic for a motorsport team. He has participated twice in the Paris-Dakar rally aboard a service truck. During holidays, Eric stays in Thailand, where he has built a house. In his free time, he enjoys tasting one of the many Belgian specialty beers.

Imre De Smet – Parts Advisor/Warehouse Manager
Imre began his professional career as a parts advisor in the VW-Audi network and has a passion for Porsche, as evidenced by the tattoos on his arm. After working at Volkswagen for 15 years, he did not hesitate to join 9xxTeile. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with his 986 Boxster, which now has more visible carbon fiber parts than a Weissach package. Imre is incredibly proud of his “most beautiful Boxster in Belgium.”

Dirk Nelissen – Chief Problem Solver
Dirk has been a fan of the Stuttgart brand his entire life and bought his first Porsche restoration project at the age of 20. This 356 was in such a dilapidated state that it was never completed and had to be sold due to lack of funds. Although the Porsche had to go, the passion remained. In 2004, he founded 9xxTeile, then known as “Air Cooled Classics.” Initially, the company dealt in air-cooled Porsches and later in accident vehicles and used parts. Ten years later, the company found the ultimate location in Zichem: an old cinema and adjacent town hall with plenty of space. From that point on, only parts were sold, first via eBay and later through the company’s own webshop: 9xxteile.com was born. Today, 9xxTeile supplies new original, OEM, and aftermarket parts to Porsche enthusiasts around the world!
