Over time, the transmission oil becomes contaminated due to wear between the gear teeth in the gearbox and must be constantly filtered accordingly.

The oil filter takes on this task, protecting the transmission from the following symptoms:

• The gearbox hesitates or refuses

• The gearbox shifts roughly or slips.

• The gearbox throbs.

• There is reduced power to the car.

• The engine speed shoots up while shifting gears.

• The engine almost stalls when you put it in gear.

Caution! The amount of oil in this kit is intended for an oil change, and therefore may not correspond to the total filling capacity. Automatic transmissions with a drain plug mounted on the torque converter or oil cooler may require more oil. Special tools for filling and checking the oil level may be required.
